Ellie has had a rough life but things are looking up. Living with her daughter Poppie and granddaughter Ria above her cat cafe, and dating her safe beau Stefan, life seems to be going well. But then she meets her handsome new neighbor... and Poppie's dad resurfaces... and she runs into a handsome stranger when she least expects it... In short, life is about to change a great deal for Ellie and her loved ones!
I did not agree with the way Ellie allowed most of her loved ones to walk all over her......I liked that she stood by her daughter when she had a baby, but strongly disagreed with her giving her money and babysitting on demand was wrong; she was not being a good parent, she was being a doormat. I respected the way she cared about her friend Lauren, but that same respect should have gone both ways. Since Ollie seemed to favor shallow and selfish women, Lauren was the best choice for him....but I am not so sure I agree with the choice of Rory for Ellie......He tried hard to overcome his phobia about cats, but as Ellie is only 34, she may want to have more children, what will they do then?
